Jude 1:20-25(Devotional)

Jude 1:20-25
But dear friends, as you build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit keep yourselves in the love of God, expecting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life. Have mercy on those who doubt, save others by snatching them from the fire, having mercy on others but with fear hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. Now to Him who is able to protect you form stumbling and to make you stand in the presence of his glory, blameless and with great joy to the only God our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord be glory, majesty, power and authority before all time now and forever. Amen.

God:
Don't be a dick. As you grow in your knowledge and ow Me. It took years it took time for you to know Me. It took years! So have mercy and grace when you meet people that doubt or stumble. you doubt and stumble too with all you know and have experienced. Be patient and encouraging.

Me:
Lord, help me to be humble before you. I hope being humble before you will help me to have patience and grace with others. Help me to be humble, to be teachable. I'm still a little hurt and confused over Julianna and the prideful or argumentative side of me. Please give me clarity.

Jude 1:14-19(Devotional)

Jude 1:14-19
And Enoch, in the seventh generation of Adam, prophesied about them: Look! the Lord comes with thousands of His Holy ones to execute judgement on all and to convict them of all their ungodly acts that they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things ungodly sinners have said against Him. These people are discontented grumblers , walking according to their desires, their mouths utter arrogant words, flattering people from their own advantage. But you dear friends remember what was predicted by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; they told you, " in the end time there will be scoffers walking according to their own ungodly desires. These people create divisions and are unbelievers not having the Spirit.

God:
Guard your mouth and check your heart. Walk in My Truth and seek to please Me. Have a clear conscience with Me and you will have no doubt or fear with how you relate with others.

Me:
Father, please help me not to be double minded or divided in my intentions and actions. Help me not seek the approval of others to give myself praise. Please guard my mouth and lips so that what I say honors you and gives you glory.

Jude 1:12-13(Devotional)

Jude 1:12-13
These are the ones who are like dangerous reefs at your love feasts. They east with you, nurturing only themselves without fear. They are water-less clouds carried along by winds; trees in late autumn fruitless, twice dead , pulled out by the roots; wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shameful deeds, wandering stars for who they blackness of darkness is reserved forever!

God:
Stay rooted in Me. When you feel doubt, despair, anger, fear, bitterness or any emotion that leads you away from Me, hold fast and turn toward Me. I have not left you, I am by your side and am all the strength, joy, satisfaction, and hope you need. Place your hope in Me, not in my blessing or creation. Look to the Lord.

Me:
Father, I am feeling lost and without purpose or feeling. I don't like any of the emotions I'm feeling but am turning to old habits and behaviors that are part of my past., part of who I was apart from your Son. But even in those lives of the flesh I don't feel good or find satisfaction in evil deeds. But I've built habits of engaging in darkness and walking in Your light feels foreign and difficult. I don't know what to do and am struggling to seek You out. I'm struggling in living my life to honor You. Please help me honor You.

Jude 1:8-11(Devotional)

Jude 1:8-11
Nevertheless, these dreamers likewise defile their flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme glorious ones. Yet Michael the archangel, when he was disputing with the devil in a debate about Moses body, did not dare bring an abusive condemnation against him but said, the Lord rebuke you!." But these people blaspheme anything they don't understand. What they know by instinct like unreasoning animals they destroy themselves with these things. Woe to them! For they have traveled in the way of Cain, have abandoned themselves to the error of Balaam for profit, and have perished in Korah's rebellion.

God:
You have some areas of grace you need to grow in. Your attitude towards people and things you don't agree with need to be adjusted. Your speech should be seasoned with salt, my grace makes the Truth easy to receive.

Me:
Lord help me in every conversation, never make it about being right. But always about advancing Your truth.Lord help me to have a clear conscience with both You and others.  Keep me from ignoring the urging of Your Spirit.   Help me to listen to the Spirit of Truth. Help me recognize my value in your eyes as Your son. Don't let me harbor bitterness or anger against others and help me to grow in my character.

Jude 1:5-7(Devotional)

Jude 1:5-7
Now I want to remind you, though you know all these things: The Lord first saved a people out of Egypt and later destroyed those who did not believe; and has kept, with eternal chains in darkness for the judgement of the great day, the angels who did not keep their own position but deserted their proper dwelling. In the same way Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them committed sexual immorality and practiced perversions, just as angels did; and serve as an example by undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.

God:
If you are Mine remain in Me. only those who keep and remain in My Word remain in Me. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling by deciding to have a white funeral. Die and I will sanctify you making you whiter than snow though your sins are as scarlet.

Me:
God I thank you for speaking to me. Help me listen but also seek You out to guide me forward into Your way everlasting. I am not sure how to remain in your Word. I know I haven't been meditating and memorizing lately. Is this what you would have me do? Will this discipline help me better abide in You?

Jude 1:1-4(Devotional)

Jude 1:1-4
Jude a slave of Jesus Christ and a brother of James: To those who are the called, loved by God and the Father and kept by Jesus Christ. May mercy peace and love be multiplied to you. Dear friends, although I was eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I found it necessary to write and exhort you to contend for the faith that was delivered to the Saints once for all. For some men who were designated for this judgement long ago have come in by stealth, they are ungodly, turning the grace of our God into promiscuity and denying Jesus Christ, our Only Master and Lord.

God:
Hold on to My promises. Put your trust in Me. Have faith and fight for joy found in Me. Don't worship or seek the good things that come from Me.

Me:
God please help me remember that You alone are worthy of my trust. You alone can save. In only You will I put my faith and trust. Help me to contend for the faith by stepping out in faith with You. Please guard my heart and in my relationships. I want to honor You and love the people in my life in all the ways I behave. Father, help me to love the people you've put in my life, keep us from acting in a way that will cause us shame or resentment. Please help me to love others by putting their good above my selfish desires but also help me have discernment about having people in my life that care for and love me too.
